After breaking through with her critically-acclaimed debut album, To Myself, at the start of the year, Atlanta-based artist Baby Rose has been busy writing new material for her wave of hungry new fans. Well, wait no more and we have a new single to play on repeat and to allow us feel all those feelings. ‘Marmot’ is an imploring ballad true to Baby Rose’ old soul style. The lofi recording allows her voice to radiate with warmth and intimacy, against a backdrop of slinky bass, elastic guitar notes and a laidback drumbeat.
